Apart from the new pass and missions, Rise of the Sentinels introduces a new limited game mode in League of Legends, Ultimate Spellbook. This mode allows you to use another hero’s ultimate ability in addition to your own champion’s. The ability selection happens within the game. Upon entering the Summoner’s Rift, you’ll get 3 random ultimates and choose the one that fits your champion the most. This is mostly relevant due to the fact that damage for all those abilities scales based on whether you use an AD or AP champion, much like your own ultimate ability. You can read more about what Ultimates are available in Ultimate Spellbook here.

Also, don’t forget that Akshan, the next League of Legends champion will become available during the event so stay tuned and gather up some blue Essence to get him as soon as he releases. He sure looks like an OP addition to the champion library.
