Riot Games has recently announced that Mythic Items will be getting removed from League of Legends, bringing the in-game shop back to where it was before the limitations on what a champion could get. As Riot Brightmoon and Meddler pointed out, players can now get Infinity Edge and Trinity Force while others can get both Rod of Ages and Liandry’s Anguish. Do you know which are the Mythic Items that are converting back into regular ones? Continue reading to find out more.
Up until this season and since a couple of seasons ago, players in League of Legends could only get one Mythic item, limiting how many powerful items a player can get. This shaped a different state of play, where champions were using super-specific builds with little to no room for experimentation. These are the mythic Items in League of Legends right now:
League of Legends Mythic Items
- Crown of the Shattered Queen
- Divine Sunderer
- Duskblade of Draktharr
- Echoes of Helia
- Eclipse
- Evenshroud
- Everfrost
- Galeforce
- Goredrinker
- Guinsoo’s Rageblade
- Heartsteel
- Hextech Rocketbelt
- Iceborn Gauntlet
- Infinity Edge
- Jak’Sho, The Protean
- Liandry’s Anguish
- Locket of the Iron Solari
- Luden’s Tempest
- Moonstone Renewer
- Navori Quickblades
- Night Harvester
- Radiant Virtue
- Riftmaker
- Rod of Ages
- Shurelya’s Battlesong
- Stridebreaker
- Trinity Force
- Youmuu’s Ghostblade
It will be interesting to see what the Riot Games’ balancing team will manage to balance out the Mythic Items of League of Legends. This will be critical especially for pro play and high elo matches since this is the place where itemization matters the most.
We’ll need to wait until the full preseason changes in order to know for sure what the item scene will be like. For the time being, we can only get excited about the possibility of buying items without limitations any more.
