I hope you are all ready to face Pyke again in the Expert mode of Tournament of Souls, cause if you want to beat him you’ll have to be quick and precise. Pyke follows his R mechanic from his base champion. This means that by reaching a certain HP threshold, he can kill you in one hit with hit ultimate ability. To counter that, we’ll need our kit to offer healing so we’ll go with the wounded-double heal combo this time.
Take a look at the abilities we’ll take into the fight in order to beat Pyke in Tournament of Souls Expert mode:
Q – LVL 3
W – LVL 3
E – LVL 1
R – LVL 2
You combo this time will be E > Q > W > Q which will deal all your damage and heal back while you’re at it. Your ultimate will also heal you back so make sure to use your full combo and while your R is up and all your other spells are in cooldown, use that too. Make sure to use E > Q always in order while both your skills are not in cooldown. Don’t worry if you go under the threshold while your cooldowns are up and you’re close to your ultimate, cause you’ll heal a good 15-20% back in a full combo. Otherwise, reset the fight and try timing your combo for maximum healing. This is your only objective as Pyke has no other special mechanics other than his one shot.
