TFT Set 10 is coming soon and we, just today, got the chance to see some of its traits in action for the first time. The theme for this set is not dragons, superheroes, or monsters. It’s music. Riot Games’ music groups like K/DA and Pentakill are remade into traits and with the help of some musical background, we are in for a huge set to look forward to. Let’s take a look at what traits the developers revealed today.
Traits
K/DA
- Positioning matters, as we see in the video.
Pentakill
- Units have extra damage reduction and bonus damage while scoring kills. When scoring a Pentakill they get another bonus increase.
True Damage
- Grants unique bonuses as you itemize units
- Akali can be K/DA or True Damage depending on the game. Same for everyone like the current set’s Ixtal trait
Heartsteel
- Economy trait, although it won’t be similar to Underground or Piltover. Will prove more useful in short economic situations rather than being only an early-game
Superfan
- Will provide buffs for your Headliner, which is a new addition to TFT much like Chosen was. You can only get 1 Headliner, at 2-star and its trait will count as 2. Superfans will turn one of the Headliner’s items into its Radiant version.
Freeflow
- No Gameplay Specifics
Glitterbomb
- No Gameplay Specifics
Country
- As the team’s health lowers, summon Hecarim as an extra unit.
Disconauts
- Get a placeable disco ball that heals allies and grants them attack speed
8-Bit / Arcade
- No Gameplay Specifics
Emo Band
- No Gameplay Specifics
EDM
- No Gameplay Specifics
The fun of it all comes down to the fact that traits will be coming with their own set of music which will get composed in real time as you mix traits together. This is the first time that Riot Games tries something like that and it will be super cool to see how it plays out.
TFT Set 10: Remix Rumble will hit PBE in the days to come and will officially be released in late November according to Riot Games, so that we can check out all the aforementioned traits in action.
