Ixtal is the second origin coming to TFT Horizonbound Set 9.5, accompanying Bilgewater. The new origin will come with 3 new units and an RNG mechanic. This mechanic will give Ixtal an element at the beginning of the game and give players that choose this trait to summon hexes that empower units. Continue reading to see the full details for Ixtal.
Ixtal – TFT Horizonbound 9.5
The Ixtal Origin grants players one of 5 elements at the start of the game, which will correspond to an Ixtal variant. Depending on the number of Ixtal champions you have, you get Hexes that grant bonuses, depending on your element. Any ally will benefit from those hexes and not only Ixtal ones.

Ixtal Units
Milio
- Ixtal
- Invoker
Qiyana
- Ixtal
- Slayer
- Rogue
Neeko
- Ixtal
- Bastion
As Riot Mort has previously mentioned in his Horizonbound PBE Rundown video, Neeko although she’s a Bastion champion can deal significant amounts of damage so she can easily play out as a carry. This means that we might see a full Bastion team. In addition, Millio as an Invoker can create interesting team comps with the Ixtal use while Qiyana can utilize the Slayer and Rogue traits which went underused in the previous set.
