It’s been only 5 days into 2022 and Riot Games has already revealed 13 new skins. This number sounds insane if you consider how many skins see the light of day in each update. More specifically, we’ll get 3 new Crystal Rose skins, 1 Withered Rose, 5 Firecracker (most possibly related to the Chinese New Year) and 5 Porcelain skins in League of Legends. Let’s take a look at what the new Porcelain skin line looks like.
The new Porcelain skins in League of Legends will feature new appearances for Ezreal, Lissandra, Kindred, Lux and Amumu. We don’t know about you, but we’re super excited to see Amumu getting a new skin and such a pretty one at that. In addition, Lux is getting a new prestige skin which pretty much confirms that we’ll be getting a related event with the skins’ release.

We still don’t know when the porcelain skins will release in League of Legends. However, this is most possibly the next event-related skin line to launch. During the past few events, Riot Games has released skins in between the event periods, which could mean that the Crystal & Withered Rose skins are fillers. If so, we might see them release in mid to late January, after the end of the Debonair event which is now underway.
As for the Firecracker skins, they’ll most likely release alongside the Chinese Christmas which is on February 1st. Keeping that in mind, we could see the Porcelain skins as Chinese themes, given the country’s love for porcelain and the importance of them in one’s legacy. This is just a thought but we like that idea.
