A new limited game mode is coming to Teamfight Tactics next week, bringing back the glory days of Fortune’s Favor. Players who love paying in high-risk high-reward situations will love playing the new mode as long as it lasts. What should you expect in the new TFT mode coming in Update 13.22?
According to the official Teamfight Tactics Twitter, Choncc’s Treasure, a new TFT mode will be coming in patch 13.22 on November 8, as part of the last Horizonbound update.
What is Choncc’s Treasure?
Choncc’s Treasure will follow the gameplay of Fortune’s Favor. In that mode, players had to choose tier-4 and tier-5 units in the first unit carousel. This gives you a huge start at your build and there will be some current comps that will excel at this.
In addition, Fortune’s Favor included some major loot-dropping stages, including gold, items, units, and traits. It will be interesting to see if Choncc’s Treasure will be exactly the same as this or if we should be expecting more gameplay changes.
Choncc’s Treasure Release Date
The new TFT mode will be released in update 13.22 which will reach the live servers on November 8th. This is the last patch in the current set. The next one is set to be themed around music, with some units already confirmed.
Possible OP Team Comps
Imagine going into your first carousel in a TFT match and seeing a free Ahri, Aatrox or Ryze. Those clearly set the mood for what you should be playing. Team Comps like Invokers, Sorcerers, and Slayers will be favorable. In addition, a free Gankplank means that Bilgewater comps will become powerful super early and offer some free wins.
