The full patch notes for update 12.19 is now available and the LoL dev team went above and beyond to give Syndra and Blitzcrank a much needed “makeover”. The new update, which comes just in time for the Worlds 2022 main stage, includes a bunch of balance changes as well as introducing the new event system which comes with progress tracking and the return of Spirit Blossom. Champion Buffs – Patch Notes 12.19

NasusSiphoning Strike (Q)

  • Bonus attack range increased from 25 to 50

Wither (W)

  • Cripple increased from 50% of slow to 75% (might be leftover)

Fury of the Sands (R)

  • Damage tick rate reduced from every 1 second to every .5 seconds
  • Bonus size increased from 30% to 30% – 40%
  • Damage radius scales with size
UdyrIron Mantle (W)

  • On-hit heal vs minions increased from 50% to 60%

Wingborne Storm (R)

  • Damage to minions: 40/55/70/85% ⇒ 50/60/70/80%

Wildling Claw (Q – Recast)

  • Minimum damage to minions: 0 ⇒ 80-160
EkkoTimewinder (Q)

  • Return AP ratio increased from 60% to 70%

Chronobreak (R)

  • Damage increased from 150 – 450 + 150% AP to 150 – 500 + 175% AP
FizzPlayful/Trickster (E)

  • AP ratio increased from 75% to 90%
  • Mana cost reverted from 75 – 95 to 90 – 110
GarenJudgment (E)

  • Crit damage increased from 58% to 75%

  • Detonation AP ratio increased from 5% missing HP per 100 AP to 6% per 100 AP
KennenLightning Rush (E)

  • Now allows him exceed the attack speed cap while bonus attack speed is active
MalphiteThunder Clap (W)

  • Cone AP ratio increased from 20% to 30%

Unstoppable Force (R)

  • AP ratio increased from 80% to 90%
Nunu & WillumpAbsolute Zero (R)

  • Damage max AP ratio increased from 250% to 300%

  • AP ratio increased from 85% to 95%

Gleaming Quill (Q)

  • Damage AP ratio increased from 60% to 70%
ShyvanaBurnout (W)

  • Bonus AD ratio increased from 10% to 20%

Flame Breath (E)

  • Human AP ratio increased from 70% to 90%
  • Human AD ratio increased from 30% to 40%
  • On hit damage reduced from 3.75% HP to 3.5%
    * Dragon E base damage reduced from 100 − 160 to 75 − 135

Dragon’s Descent (R)

  • AP ratio increased increased from 100% to 130%
Tahm KenchTongue Lash (Q)

  • AP ratio increased from 70% to 90%

Abyssal Dive (W)

  • AP ratio increased from 100% to 125%
TwitchDeadly Venom (P)

  • AP ratio per stack per second increased from 2.5% to 3%

Contaminate (E)

  • AP ratio per stack increased from 33% to 35%

Syndra 12.19 Patch Notes

Base Stats

  • Base Health: 593 –> 563

 

Transcendent (P)

  • Syndra collects up to 120 Spliners via damaging enemy champions and gaining levels. Splinters of Wrath enhance Syndra and her abilities
  • Syndra Restores 20-215 (based on level 1-18) mana whenever she collects a Splinter from an enemy. She can gain Splinters via:
    • Damaging an enemy champion with 2 Abilities within 4 seconds grants (1/2/3 at levels 1, 11 and 18) Splinters (8s CD per target)
    • Leveling up grants Syndra 5 SPlinters of Wrath
    • Killing a Cannon minion grants 1 Splinters of Wrath
  • At 120 Splinters Syndra gains 15% total AP
  • Ability icons also change with upgrade

 

Dark Sphere (Q)

  • Cooldown: 4s –> 7s
  • Mana CostL 40/50/60/70/80 –> 40/45/50/55/60
  • AP Ratio: 65% –> 70%
  • 40 Splinters of Wrath: Dark Sphere can store 2 charges (1.25s CD between casts)

 

Force of Will (W)

  • Sphere Pickup Detection Radius: 400 –> 450
  • Now prevents non-Sphere units from dying for a brief period when picked up
  • 60 Splinters of Wrath: Force of Will does an additional 15%(1.5% per 100 AP) true damage

 

Scatter the Weak (E)

  • Magic Damage: 85-265(+60%AP) –> 75-235(+55%AP)
  • Scatter Angle: 34 degrees –> 56 degrees
  • Cooldown: 18-14s –> 15s
  • Stun Duration: 1.5s –> 1.25s
  • Reduced failure chances of close range E>Q combo
  • 80 Splinters of Wrath: Scatter the Weak’s cone is increased (56 deg –> 84 deg) and also slows enemies by 70% for 1.25s (applied after initial CC)

 

Unleashed Power (R)

  • Grant Dark Sphere (Q) an additional 10/20/30 Ability Haste
  • Damage per Sphere: 90/140/190(+20%AP) –> 90/130/170(+17%AP)
  • 100 Splinters of Wrath: Executes champions below 15% max health

 

Blitzcrank 12.19 Patch Notes

Base Stats

      • Base Attack Speed: Increased from 0.625 to 0.65
      • Attack Speed Ratio: Increased from 0.625 to 0.7

 

Overdrive (W)

    • Attack Speed: Increased from 30% – 62% to 40% – 92%
    • Mana Cost: Increased from 75 to 85
    • Now deals 1% max HP magic damage on-hit while active, increased by 60 – 180 against non champs

 

Power Fist (E)

      • Mana Cost: Increased from 25 to 40
      • Now scales with 25% AP and increased by 150% AD + 125% AP against non-champions

 

Static Field (R)

    • Passive AP ratio increased from 30% flat to 30% to 50%
    • No longer capped at 3 Stacks
