The LEC Season Finals for 2023 start tomorrow, featuring the best European teams and the round 1 schedule is already available. In its first weekend, the LEC Finals will feature two games, which will shape how the rest of the tournament will look like. The two winners will move on to Round 3, while the defeated teams will play against Fnatic and SK in the Loser’s Bracket. After a dominating last split, G2 Esports are eager to maintain their level of power over the rest of the LEC teams. However, the rest of the Finalists are not far behind in terms of commitment and performance. It will be interesting to see how Excel and BDS will manage to use their advantage against the former powerhouses G2 and MAD while Fnatic and SK Gaming won’t go soft against their opponents for a spot in the grand finals in Montpellier.
The LEC Summer Finals 2023 prize pool sums up to a total of €160.000, with the teams getting a percentage of that sum depending on their position. In addition, the top 3 teams in Europe will represent the region in the upcoming Worlds 2023 in Korea.
