If you have just started out Song of Nunu you most likely have stumbled upon the cave puzzle, the first one to come across. Although the puzzle itself is not hard to solve, it can come with some challenges since you are still getting accustomed to the game’s mechanics. Continue reading to find out how to solve it and move on to the next stage of Song of Nunu.
Song of Nunu Cave Puzzle – Help Willump get up
The first thing you’ll need to do in order to solve the cave puzzle is to go in front of the flute rune console. You will notice that the first rune on the right lowers the stone platform in front of Willump. Play the rune with your flute and Willump will jump on the platform and reach the vines.
Song of Nunu Cave Puzzle – Destroy the Vines
Now that Willump is up, you will need to play the flute runes in order from right to left, in time so that the vine explosion ripples reach the red vine on the far left. First, play the first rune (far right) and Willump will shoot a snowball through the opening that the rotation stone will open.
Next up, shoot the second from the right so that the second rotating stone goes up in order to get affected by the chain of explosions. You will need to do the same for the third rune, so that the stone platform goes up and in succession the fourth one (far left) so that the third rotating stone lowers, exploding the last vine flower.
Now, Willump will move to the left of the screen and you will need to play the fourth (far left) rune with your flute in order for the rotating stone to be removed so that he can climb up.
