Riot Games is cooking a brand new visual rework in the form of ASU, this time for our “beloved” Teemo. The ASU team is working on bringing the Yordle menace in a visual state closer to what more modern champions set as a standard. This includes a new model, new animations, voice lines, and VFX. Can this be a redemption arc for Teemo and we can finally stop hating on him?
Getting closer to his model in Wild Rift, Teemo is now looking like the true Yordle troll he ought to be. Check out the full Teemo Visual Rework and his skin changes in the following video by SkinSpotlights:
The ASU Team said about the Teemo reword in a recent dev blog:
Teemo has been terrorizing the Rift since 2009, so we’ve created quite a few styles for him over the last 15 years. From small adjustments to full revamps, our goal is to bring Teemo’s looks back up to the quality bar we’ve established for our modern champions.
Similar to what we saw with Lee Sin, Teemo’s catalog over the years has also created variations in his silhouette. Most notably, his tufted hat and backpack. Some skins feature a hat whereas others lack it.
Changes to Teemo Skin Prices
Due to the quality of the Teemo visual rework, some of his older skins will see a rise in their RP prices. Those are:
- Happy Elf Teemo
- Recon Teemo
- Badger Teemo
The skins above will have their price raised to 750RP. You have until the release of the rework in patch 14.20 on October 9th to get these skins for the discounted price.
