League of Legends is more than a video game and it shows by its frequent release of new music, cinematics, short stories, and more. Did you know that right now Riot Games has 4 bands in its cinematic universe? These are all the bands that have released for League of Legends through the years.
K/DA
K/DA is not the first but is, for sure, the most popular band in League of Legends. Comprised of Seraphine, Akali, Evelynn, Kai’Sa, and Ahri, K/DA has solidified League of Legends champions as artists, giving them a voice like never before. The girl band has more than one song out and two world finals appearances through the help of VFX.
Heartsteel
Did you think that League of Legends wouldn’t have its own boy band? The most recent artist group for Riot Games music is Heartsteel, a group created for Worlds 2023. Its members are: Sett, K’Sante, Yone, Aphelios, Ezreal and Kayn. The release of Heartsteel is only the beginning of a bright future for Riot’s bands.
True Damage
Released as a surprise track for Worlds 2019, True Damage is a mixed genre group with Yasuo, Akali, Senna, Ekko, and Qiyana as its members. Their raw and powerful beats have solidified the Worlds 2019 finals as one of the best to ever exist and we can’t wait to see their next track.
Pentakill
Pentakill is our last yet most loved music band in League of Legends. Its hard rock and metal sounds echo through the rift, with the members offering huge heavy metal vibes. Its members, Karthus, Yorick, Mordekaiser, Sona, Kayle, and Olaf aren’t the only ones in this universe as Riot Games has also added Viego as a villain in the Pentakill saga. Their last virtual live concert was a huge success with hope from fans for more to follow.
