Teamfight Tactics Set 10 is coming in a month and slight hints are starting to appear online about its mechanics and units. We know for a fact that its theme will be around music and some of its units. Riot Mort frequently shares some info about the next sets and is the one to announce that in Set 10 of TFT, we’ll be able to reach level 10 as a permanent mechanic.
The news comes from the latest Dev blog for TFT, which is basically a reflection of set 9 and how Riot Games has figured out what to do for the next sets in order to make them even better. According to Riot Mort, Riot Games is keeping the ability to reach level 10 as a permanent feature in the game:
For the next set you’re going to see some changes to things like the bag sizes, drop odds, and the XP costs for each level. It might not be what you’re expecting though, but the big news is that Level 10 is now a permanent part of the game! If you want to hit those 3-star 5-costs, you’re likely going to have to go all the way to 10 before it’s going to be doable.
We don’t know yet if this means that Aurelion Sol will remain as a Legend or if the level 10 option will be added to the available level cap. For what it’s worth, this addition will prove useful in order to expand the playstyle options in all game modes.
It will be approximately two weeks before TFT Set 10 arrives in the PBE and we’ll know exactly what we are in for. Until then, make sure to watch out for Riot Games’ teases or drop by Riot Mort’s Twitch channel for his famous hints.
