TFT Set 10 is here, filling the arena with music and heavy hitters. This season brings back the “Chosen” mechanic in the form of Headliners, which appear in the shop as 2-star units and give you +1 to a trait. Even though Headliners in general are super useful, there are some that excel in their field. In this article, we’ll take a look at the best Headliners in TFT Set 10: Remix Rumble.
Akali
K/DA Akali
- Headliner effect: 100 bonus health and 10 percent bonus attack speed.
True Damage Akali
- Headliner effect: 100 bonus health and 10% bonus attack speed.
Akali is one of the best units in TFT Set 10 and she excels as a Headliner as well. Both K/DA and True Damage Akali are vertical builds so a +1 to any of them is a huge bonus.
Amumu
- Headliner effect: 200 bonus health and when attacked, also gains magic resistance.
Amumu is not only tanky but can translate that tankiness into damage. As a result, gaining some extra magic resistance when attacked will prove useful for your front line.
Lux
Headliner effect: 10% bonus Critical Strike Chance and her ability can critically strike.
Lux as a Headliner gets a huge buff, her ability can critically strike. This means that you can swap your classic Gauntlet into a Rabadon’s or an Archangel’s when you use her as a Headliner.
Modekaiser
- Headliner effect: 200 health, and five percent bonus ability power. When his solo kills, Mordekaiser gains one percent permanent ability power.
When playing Pentakill, you might want to start of with an Olaf Headliner since he will most likely be the first to appear. However, Mordekaiser is the best one to go for since he passively gets ability power and has a great AP bonus as a Headliner effect.
Bard
- Headliner effect: At combat start, for every 10 times Bard has cast, play a Doot.
Bard also has a passive headliner effect instead of bonus stats. His additional Doot cast will prove useful in clutch fights, especially if you run a Dazzler team.
Yasuo
- Headliner effect: 100 bonus health and 10 percent Omnivamp.
Yasuo is a great 1-cost unit, especially as a Headliner. The unit gets stacking Attack Damage on kill so the two-star stat buff in addition to the 10% Omnivamp will make him even more of a monster.
Gnar
- Headliner effect: 200 bonus health and at combat start, transforms into Mega Gnar.
Gnar is particularly useful in your comp as a Mega Gnar and as a Headliner he can kickstart his teamfighting power super early. If you are running a Pentakill team and can’t wait for Mordekaiser to appear, Gnar is a great alternative.
Nami
- Headliner effect: 20% ability power.
Nami is a great caster in both Dazzler and Disco team comps. Her Headliner bonus, granting her 20% more ability power can stack perfectly with her items and terrorize the field with her bubbles.
Olaf
- Headliner effect: 100 bonus health, 10 bonus armor, and 10 bonus magic resistance.
Olaf is a great tanky unit to start with, given his hp per hit regeneration and how well he works with Bruisers. If you don’t want to wait for a Morde or maybe even a Karthus headliner, Olaf is a solid option.
Sett
- Headliner effect: 250 health. After dropping below 15 percent health or dying, Sett gains 50 permanent maximum health.
Sett has an amazing Headliner effect that might not look as cool as some others but stacking permanent max HP out of nowhere is always a blessing.
This is it for our TFT Set 10 Best Headliners list. Of course, this is just our starting guide depending on what we noticed during the PBE phase. We’ll revise this list appropriately in case of nerfs or new more powerful picks getting their spot in some popular team comps.
