2023 is halfway done and yet another season of League of Legends is passing by as well. There are 10 more patches in this season, spreading from August to December, in which new champions, balance updates, and events will release. The updates are confirmed by Riot Mort through his Twitter, Game Design Director at Riot Games & Lead Designer of Teamfight Tactics.

- 13.1 — January 11
- 13.2 — January 25
- 13.3 — February 8
- 13.4 — February 23
- 13.5 — March 8
- 13.6 — March 22
- 13.7 — April 5
- 13.8 — April 19
- 13.9 — May 3
- 13.10 — May 17
- 13.11 — June 1
- 13.12 — June 14
- 13.13 — June 28
- 13.14 — July 19
- 13.15 — August 2
- 13.16 — August 16
- 13.17 — August 30
- 13.18 — September 13
- 13.19 — September 27
- 13.20 — October 11
- 13.21 — October 25
- 13.22 — November 8
- 13.23 — November 21
- 13.24 — December 6
The dates above correspond to both League of Legends and Teamfight Tactics updates. The only difference is that there are 3 dates for TFT when a new season starts. Those are:
- 13.4 — February 23
- 13.13 — June 28
- 13.23 — November 21
Since we are now at LoL Patch 13.14, expect at least one new champion to release before the end of the year. In this case, the next League of Legends champion will be Briar. She is expected to launch on PBE for testing in 13.18 or 13.19 if everyone’s estimations are correct. For the time being, stay tuned for patch 13.15 which will introduce changes in the Arena limited time mode, LoL, and TFT.
