League of Legends Wild Rift is finally coming to Europe after almost a month of everyone crossing out days while seeing eastern countries playing. On December 8th and 10th, a huge wave of countries will join the Open Beta party. Sadly, North America is still nowhere to be found among the available regions.
When is League of Legends Wild Rift coming to Europe?
According to Riot Games, Europe, Turkey, Middle East, North Africa, CIS and Russia will be able to join Wild Rift on December 10th. That marks less than a month before you get to play the game on you mobile phone.
Before that, more specifically on December 8th, Vietnam, Oceania and Taiwan will join the game too. The game’s description reads:
Dive into Wild Rift: the skills-and-strats 5v5 MOBA experience of League of Legends, now built from the ground up for mobile (and coming soon to console). With fresh controls and fast-paced games, players of every level can team up with friends, lock in their champion, and go for the big plays.
League of Legends Wild Rift is yet far from complete. Riot Games reveal that they want to implement the Dragon system as well as the brand new item rework into the mobile game. Alex Huang, Lead Balance Designer says:
Aside from the normal balance changes we will be doing on a regular basis, we are also looking to adopt some of the major gameplay systems that League PC has improved upon in the last couple of years. In particular, players have really enjoyed the variety that the Elemental Rift and Dragon Souls systems have created so we are currently exploring how to adapt these two systems into Wild Rift. We’re still a long ways off here, but we’re definitely looking into it!
For the time being, Wild Rift is well conceived by players all around the world. Much so that people who cannot play on their regions find workarounds with VPN programs. This, of course, is something that Riot Games doesn’t encourage and you shouldn’t try it since your account could be compromised in the process.
